It's been three weeks and a few days since the last post. What has been going on? Too many things. The music world lost Heavy D at the age of 44. Smokin' Joe Frazier was called up to the heavens. If that wasn't enough, it seems like they were short of writers and they took Andy Rooney from us.
Sports:
The hot item is going on in Pennsylvania, where a child-sex scandal investigation is going on involving a coach from the Penn State Football team. As a result the face of Penn State Football, Joe Paterno, was fired along with the school president and others. Oddly enough, the coach who "witnessed" the act still has a job. Interesting.
Here on the west coast, Sacramento Kings forward Donte Green is holding his own charity event at UC Davis called the Goon Squad Classic. This exhibition will benefit the COS Foundation. The game will be played on Sunday, 11/20 at 6:30pm. This should be nice considering the NBA Lockout is still on-going. (Spoiler Alert: Kevin Durant might be making a cameo appearance.)
The 49ers are on 6 game win streak. Everything is clicking for them. Jim Harbaugh has to be, up to this point, the Coach of the Year. They could well be on their way to the #2 seed in the playoffs. The Raiders are all out of whack. They lost their QB Jason Campbel for the season, traded two first-rounders for Carson Palmer, Darren McFadden is out and they still can't stop the run. With all of those issues, they are still in the race for the AFC West crown.
Radio World:
Dr. Don is on a cruise, enjoying life while working. Freddie has a messed up arm. We are still partying at Savannah's on Thursdays and Free Lunch Fridays. No new events are on tap. We are still trying to find ways to please you, the listeners.
The Wayans Brothers and Chris Tucker were in the neighborhood. Rumor has it, they did one heck of a job at their shows.

Overall:
Michelle Obama is pregnant, CONGRATS!!! It will be the couple's (Obama is the husband to state the obvious), third child.
Henry Cain is still defending himself. Is it me or politicians always have at least two sex-scandal non-sense?
The weather is getting colder.
I forgot that I was not a big fan of it getting dark at 5pm.
Life is good, though 2011 is almost over....
