Just to remind people, I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I'm not here to say that I had the good life, because I didn't. I can say that I have seen my fair share of stars, mainly in Santa Monica. Big stars to the "eh" stars.  Tom Cruise gave me the cold shoulder,  which is pretty sad considering I'm taller than him. Ving Rhames shook my hand and gave me a word of advice about my future . After a while you get to used to seeing these stars just walking around town (not just Santa Monica). At the end of the day, they are regular human beings just like you and I. Eventually that "star sighting" fades away. This leads me to...

Drake

Ok, maybe it's just me,  Drake isn't that much of a big deal. So he was at the Kings game, "Yay!". Really? yes he has lot's of talent but that doesn't mean anything.  Maybe it's my big city mentality, but I think he has to do more in the Music Industry before we get overly excited about his appearance. Personally, he has a couple good songs and a weird Sprite commercial. If anything, let's use his appearance as a step in the right direction as we wait for the new arena.

Like I said, maybe it's my big city mentality. Let me know when you see John Legend, Brian McKnight or even Kanye in the stands.
