FOOTBALL: Tebow to the AFL? ….. Tim Tebow, the overachieving and popular quarterback who everyone says is a great football player but lousy quarterback, is getting a lot of love from one team. It happens to be in the Arena Football League, but it's still nice to be wanted.
It's not likely that Tebow would accept the offer before exhausting all NFL options, but who knows? Maybe a move to the AFL isn't such a bad thing. There was once an unimpressive quarterback named Kurt Warner who, after receiving no interest from NFL teams, played for the Arena League for a few years. He became a star there and finally got back to the NFL where he went on to become a league MVP.
