Madonna has topped the L.A. Times' annual "Ultimate Top 10" list, which combines artists' earnings from touring with their take from record sales.
The Material Girl took in $144 million in North America last year, of which $133 million was from her MDNA tour. The remainder included $8.2 million in physical and digital album sales, and a relatively paltry $2.1 million in digital tracks sales, way below most current hit artists.
