A 911 call complained about a baby lion “walking down Colley Avenue, possibly looking for food”…when in reality it was a dog, a 3 year old labra-doodle, with his
coat shaved to look lion-like.

Police discovered that both lions at the local Virginia Zoo were locked up and accounted for. The dog’s owner groomed her pet to look like the Norfolk Old Dominion University mascot.
