Producers may finally have a jump start for that long-stalled Marvin Gaye bio-pic -- in the form of Lenny Kravitz, who's reportedly signed on to play the soul legend.
The as-yet-untitled movie, directed by British rock flick specialist Julien Temple, will focus on Gaye's troubled final years, rather than attempt to tell the whole story in two hours. Kravitz has appeared on the big screen before, most recently in The Hunger Games, but this would be his first lead role.
Is Lenny Kravitz the right choice? Should a singer or an actor take the role?
