Lisa is a native of California with over 18 years experience on the radio. Her other job is being mother to her 11 year old son. She is a serious fan of love songs and has enjoyed being a part of listeners marriage proposals, anniversaries, and other major life events.

Growing up I always wanted to be: An actress/singer/dancer, or marriage counselor

Nicknames I’ve had: Lala (from the family) and Chaka in high school when I had some BIG hair

I have always wanted to try: sleeping for 8 hours in a row, I hear it's heaven. :)

I would love to have lunch with: The Dalai Lama, Simon Cowell, Barack Obama, and Prince

My favorite TV shows are: Idol, Glee, In Plain Sight, House, Lie to Me

3 things I can't live without: My son, music, a way to learn something new

When I am not at work I can be found: running around doing Mommy stuff

The best thing about my job is: talking with people about things that really matter in their life, who they love, who they can't live without, how they see the world and why. And of course,,,playing music. :)

Favorite artists or group: Prince, Chaka, Patti LaBelle. This is always the hardest question for me, because my list of what I love could go on for days!!!!!

Favorite quote: "Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground" Jalauddin Rumi

What's in your CD player: Either "The Time" megamix from Michael Erickson or A "Music Together" CD from my sons music class. I cant remember which one.

Favorite vacation spot: At the edge of the ocean anywhere or in a grove of redwood trees.

Things that annoy me: People who are oblivious to how their actions affect others
