The Sacramento Clear Channel Radio cluster is looking for a full-time Continuity Director. This is not a position for wimps or someone who is unwilling to work hard. It takes organization, time management, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task amid constant interruptions. Our priorities change often based on the crisis of the moment.
In this role, the Continuity Director will:
Accurately process production orders daily
Assist Account Executive's and their clients to achieve 100% accuracy in their copy rotation
Work with Production Department to ensure all audio is present
Generate and review daily program logs for multiple stations
Prepare daily reports for sales, traffic and accounting
Research and problem solve items related to Continuity and Production
Basic clerical functions (filing, copying and document preparation)
Other tasks as assigned

The basic requirements for the job are:
High School Diploma, college preferred
Two to Five years experience with automated broadcast traffic system
Considerable knowledge of FCC rules
Excellent time management and leadership skills
Extensive computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and email
Must be a self-starter who takes initiative and can work with minimal supervision
Must have strong math and problem solving skills and can work with regular distractions.

Voicing, writing, dubbing and archiving of promotional announcements, imaging and some commercials.
Provide creative support to the Programming Department with regard to promotional announcements and some on-air board work.
Read and edit material to ensure conformance with company policy and FCC regulations.
Coordinate with the Program Director to expedite radio promos, imaging and rotation, according to the specifications.
Serve as liaison between station and listeners when including them on all imaging and station features.
Work with Program Director to craft the message and voice of the station that is consistent through all imaging and production pieces.
Some Production work is required with the Production Department.
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates must understand how writing conversationally is the key to good promos.
Knowledge of ProTools or Cool Edit Pro is a must, knowledge of both is a plus.
