On Wednesday's American Idol we saw a glimpse of the much-hyped feud between diva judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, but what aired on the show wasn't nearly as bad at the initial reports back when TMZ broke the infighting story in October.

Back then, Nicki threatened to "knock out" Mariah. On Wednesday's show, after they fought over one contestant, Nicki said, "Maybe I should just get off the f**king panel,” before bolting. Mariah took exception to her diva-like behavior. Nicki was heard off-camera telling her fellow judges to "Shut the f**k up."
