Jamie Foxx’s biological father would like to reconnect, but apparently Jamie isn’t interested in meeting with the man who abandoned him when he was a child.

The National Enquirer reports that Foxx’s estranged father Shaheed Abdullah (born Darnell Bishop) is seeking a reunion because he's afraid he's dying from a lung condition. Abdullah’s wife, Hellema, tells the Enquirer that her husband is on oxygen every day, but they still haven’t heard from his son. “We’ve called Jamie several times over the years and left hundreds of messages. But he has never returned our calls. I just wish Jamie would call.”

Foxx has said that he was abandoned by both of his parents when he was very young and was raised by his maternal grandparents.
