After weeks of rumors and whispers, Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton have confirmed the good news -- they're expecting their first baby.  No officials details, such as a due date, have been announced.

Meanwhile, Brits are already taking bets on the impending royal baby's name. If it's a girl, odds are good that Kate and Prince William will name their firstborn after Queen Elizabeth (8-1). The odds of them naming the baby after William’s mom, the late Princess Diana, are 12-1. The odds aren't good for the baby being named after William’s stepmother Camilla (66-1) or Sarah Ferguson (250-1).

If it’s a boy, John and Charles are the 10-1 favorites.
