Katt Williams is facing yet another trip to jail after leading cops on a bizarre chase while riding his three-wheeled motorcycle on a pedestrian-packed sidewalk.
Sacramento Police originally contacted Williams near the Hyatt along L Street. He was asked to leave for disturbing the peace. He did, but was soon spotted by Capitol Protection Officers.
TMZ is reporting that the increasingly volatile comic was approached after he began riding the motor-trike on a Sacramento sidewalk, but he took off at high speed, at one point going the wrong way into oncoming traffic. Fox40 Sacramento reports Williams was driving a Can Am (a three-wheeled motorcycle) on a sidewalk. From L Street, he turned onto 13th Street then onto the closed-off section of K Street in front of the Esquire IMAX Theatre. Driving through, he was said to have almost hit five pedestrians. Midway through the chase, he ripped off his helmet and told police he was not going to stop.
The officers called off the pursuit, saying it was too dangerous -- but they plan to ask a court to charge Katt with felony evasion, which carries a mandatory prison sentence.
