Survey of more than 1100 children from 8-to-18 reveals laptops are more popular than iPhones and clothing.

While Santa Claus is making a list and checking it twice, children across the country are writing a wish list of their own. A survey of more than 1100 children between the ages of 8 and 18 shows that the #1 item on their Christmas list is…a laptop.

If you can believe the Ebates 2012 Holiday Wish List Survey, an iPhone is the second most popular, followed by clothing.
