Katt Williams was arrested and his 4 kids were taken away after his house was raided by cops, who found numerous guns and illegal drugs.

Williams said guns were secured in a locked box, adding, "If the police come in ...and raid my place and break into my gun boxes, you're gonna find guns! I'm not in a gang, what difference does it make?"

Katt also said there were no drugs at his house -- well ... he admits there was weed, but says, "Weed is not a drug."

Katt Williams has some explaining to do now because cops now  say one of the guns seized from the comedian’s house during his most recent arrest was recently reported stolen. Katt was  arrested Friday on charges of child endangerment after an investigation from the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services  concluded there was a slew of guns and illegal drugs stashed in his house. According to the Los Angeles Times, the LAPD told the newspaper that one of the guns taken from Katt’s house was in fact reported stolen.

While people have attributed Katt Williams’ recent bad behavior on drugs, Suge Knight denies that and offers another reason.

Knight says Katt’s erratic behavior is in response to harassment he receives from fans.

“People test him because he’s small and the best comedian of all time.” Knight goes on to explain that it ain’t easy being a vertically challenged comedian known for playing a pimp. Suge takes it a step further by comparing Williams’ “drama moment” to those of Richard Pryor and Mike Tyson. “When people see him, they don’t separate the Katt Williams on stage from the Katt Williams just being a regular person. That’s what happens when you’re the best in the business. Sometimes you just have rough times.”

Katt Williams has ran afoul of the law again -- this time after making a disturbance outside of a West Hollywood Subway restaurant last night.

According to TMZ, Katt was briefly detained by police after they responded to a call for a "disturbance." Cops handcuffed Williams and placed him the back of a squad car when they found marijuana and a empty gun magazine on him, but later let him go after they determined that he had a medical card for the weed.

Williams says he was simply hanging out at the Subway while he waited for his friend and manager Suge Knight to get a manicure nearby, and that the whole incident was racially motivated.
